Forty Fort Police and the Luzerne County District Attorney's Office say they have no answers as to why 34 year old Nicholas Shultz shot and killed his two year old daughter Camyrn Lee Shultz and then shot himself. There is speculation among family members that it was connected to the recent separation of Nicholas and his wife Jessica. Tom Hess, Jessica Shultz's father, told Eyewitness News at the home on Sunday that his son-in-law called his daughter and said "Say goodbye to your daughter." The I-Team searched Shultz's past and found nothing out of the ordinary certainly nothing criminal. Police say they had not been called to the Shultz home on Wesley Street for anything related to Domestic situations. Kimberly Narasavage lives across the street from the Shultz home and said, "My daughter is 3 years old and I feel so sad for the little girl who is no longer with is. So sad and so tragic." Pat Reynolds lives just down the street and told Eyewitness News, " This neighborhood is filled with kids and families I hope they keep the Shultz family in their prayers."
