The Veterans Multi-Care Alliance and the newly formed Task Force for Services to Military Families will be featured on this Sunday's Newsmakers on WBRE TV.
The monthly public affairs program is hosted by
Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and I Team Reporter Andy Mehalshick.
Bugda and Mehalshick will have as their guests, Rich Wren of the Multi-Care Alliance and Michael Zimmerman and Karla Porter representing the Task Force.
The two groups have one sole purpose helping our men and women returning from military services. The panel will talk about the many services they offer veterans and their families. They help with legal, health, education, housing and employment issues and concerns.
Both groups cover most counties in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. In addition to providing services, both groups are looking for volunteers to help support veterans and their families with the reintegration process. The panel will also discuss their goal to educate the community about veterans and their needs.
Newsmakers will air Sunday, February 6th at 5:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on WBRE TV. The program will rebroadcast on Sunday, February 13th at 5:30 a.m. on WBRE TV. Newsmakers will also air on Saturday, February 12th at 6 a.m. on WYOU TV.
