Newsmakers to Air This Sunday, April 29th- Schuylkill Co Drug and Alcohol Junior Advisory Board

The Schuylkill County Drug and Alcohol Junior Advisory Board will be the focus of this Sunday's Newsmakers on WBRE TV. Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and the I-Team's Andy Mehalshick host the monthly public affairs program.

Joining Bugda
and Mehalshick, Olivia Massari , a Senior at Minersville High School, Frank Scicchitano, a Senior at Mahanoy Area High School and Diane Rowland Schuylkill County Drug and Alcohol Program, Prevention Coordinator.
The Junior Advisory board is very active in their school and community in bringing awareness to teen issues. The panel will discuss underage drinking, bullying, and the internet. They will also talk about a DVD they have produced about teen suicide.
The advisory board is currently behind a place mat campaign in Schuylkill County promoting a safe prom season.
     Newsmakers air this Sunday, April 29th at 5:30 am and 11 am; the program will be rebroadcasted on Sunday, May 6th at 5:30 am on WBRE.
   
Newsmakers will also air on WYOU on Saturday, May 5th at 6 am.
