Newsmakers Celebrates the Arts Sunday March 6th

<STRONG>&nbsp;&nbsp; Newsmakers will Celebrate the Arts this Sunday, March 6th.&nbsp;&nbsp; The Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre and Leadership Wilkes-Barre will be the featured guests.</STRONG>
 A Celebration of Local Theatre and the Arts will be the focus of this Sunday's Newsmakers on WBRE TV. The monthly public affairs program is hosted by Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and Lead I-Team Reporter Andy Mehalshick.

    Bugda and Mehalshick will have as their guests, Cathy Alaimo, General Manger of the Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre, and Ellen Parmenteri and Joe Sheridan, Board Members of the Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre. They will be joined by Tracy Stine, of Leadership Wilkes-Barre Class of 2011.

    Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre is marking its 88th year. The panel will take a look back at Little Theatre's remarkable history and its plans for the future. The all volunteer theatre group offers local people a chance to get involved in theatre on stage and behind the scenes. They will discusss the many facets of local theatre and the arts.

    Stine is representing her Leadership project group. The group recently did extensive renovatations to the Little Theatre's Lobby. They provided countless hours of volunteer work. The lobby will be unveiled during the Little Theatre's next production "Sweet Charity" on March 19th.

      Newsmakers will air this Sunday, March 6th at 5:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on WBRE-TV. It will rebroadcast on WBRE on Sunday, March 13th at 5:30 a.m. The program will also air on WYOU TV on Saturday, March 12th at 6 a.m.
