Man charged with killing his brother

A Susquehanna County man turned himself into police after he admitted to killing his own brother.
Jessup Township, Susquehanna County - A Susquehanna County man turned himself into police after he admitted to killing his own brother.

According to a report from State Police, 52-year old Forest Webster asked for a coroner at 10 o’clock Sunday morning when he arrived at the Montrose Police Station. 

He told police he shot his brother, 55-year old John Webster, earlier that morning at their property in Jessup Township.

He added that it was a “mercy killing” and that his brother wasn’t rational. 

Family members tell Eyewitness News that the two brother, who live in separate houses on the property, have been fighting for years. 

Forest Webster is jailed without bail on criminal homicide charges.
