Lewisburg Ice Festival to feature the Wizard of Oz!

Campus Theatre and Lewisburg Downtown Partnership celebrate the Ice Festival with THE WIZARD OF OZ
To celebrate the 11th Annual Lewisburg Ice Festival, the Lewisburg Downtown Partnership is presenting a complimentary screening of the classic family favorite THE WIZARD OF OZ (Rated G), completely restored and remastered on the big screen.  The event will be held on Saturday, February 1st at 4:00pm –

“It will be the first time that we have shown THE WIZARD OF OZ at the Campus Theatre in many years.” says Jessica Paquin, Director of Outreach and Fundraising at the Campus Theatre. “And this will be the first time we have seen it remastered on our screen. I’m very excited to show it to our younger viewers in the area who may not have ever seen it before, and certainly haven’t seen it looking and sounding this good!”

Admission is FREE in exchange for a donation of new hats, gloves, or socks to benefit the Clothes Sharing Program, a service of the Union County Food Bank. The Clothes Sharing Program makes quality, used clothing available at no cost to clients who qualify for the Eastern Union County Supplemental Food Pantry. “Having admission free on such an active day in Lewisburg is a great way to get families together to see a classic movie and collect donations for a great cause like the Clothes Sharing Program.”, added Paquin. “We are very grateful to the Lewisburg Downtown Partnership for this opportunity to share this film and give back to the community.”

Doors open at 3:00pm. Seating is limited so patrons are encouraged to arrive early.
