Dunmore, Lackawanna County- Voters across the nation are casting their ballots for president.
Here in Pennsylvania there are also a number of congressional and statewide races on the ballot
So far == turnout has been good at polling places across the region.
Turnout is always usually higher during presidential campaigns.
While its not required the issue over showing "identification" has also been the talk of many polling places.
As voters went to the polls Tuesday morning people were asked for but not required to show id.
Its an issue that has divided many.

Some of them just laugh about it and show it to you, others are really kinda nasty about it." said Marsha Shoemaker, Judge of Elections

While the contentious issue will not prevent anyone from voting in this presidential election some are worried about what will happen in the future.

"I don't want to see anyone restricted from voting, so i would rather see 100 people that shouldn't be voting vote, than one person that should be restricted..." said Jack Daubenhauser, Jr. of Dunmore.

It was no surprise that the presidential race was the main attraction for many people here in Dunmore.
Voters were varied about which candidates they supported.

"Its been a disgrace for four years. Its time for a change. I'm hoping Mitt Romney with his morals and background can make a change in this country." added Jack Daubenhauser, Senior of Dunmore.

"I think four years for Obama wasn't enough time for him to get recovered from the bush years so we need four more years of this guy to get us ahead.."
Noted Larry Rizzitano of Dunmore.
