JCA of NEPA announces opening night at the JCC

Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 4:00 pm

Hava Nagila (the movie) - the song you thought you knew, the story you won't believe.

Hava Nagila (the movie) is a documentary romp through the history, mystery and meaning of the great Jewish standard.  Featuring interviews with Harry Belafonte, Leonard Nimoy, Conne Francis, Glen Campbell, Regina Spektor and more.  High on fun and entertainment Hava Nagila (the movie) is also surprisingly profound, tapping into universal themes about the importance of joy, the power of music and the resillient spirit of a people.

Please share your "Hava" moments with us through photographs or stories.  Do you have family events, celebrations, special moments that you can share with us where you sang, danced or clapped to this song.  Share your celebrations with us.  We will display all entries the night of the movie.
