Howard's Jewelers Will Close After More Than 60 Years IN Business

Howard's Jewelers will close its doors for good after more than 60 years in business.
Mark Frumkin says the time is now to close his jewelry store inside the Laurel Mall near Hazleton. He said, "It is time for me to do more family things. I lost much of that building this business. I want to thank all the customers over the years for their support and love I hope I served them well." Frumkin's grandfather opened the original store in Hazleton in 1910 as a grocery store. Frumkin said, "I don't know what I will do next Christmas I always played Santa Clause for years and now I will be sad not be there." Frumkin says the store will close after the holidays.
