Honeyfingers to Perform at The Cooperage, August 30th

“Concerts in the Coop”
Honeyfingers is a tight band of exceptional musicians playing 50's era country jazz. They are coming to The Cooperage in Honesdale, PA on Friday, August 30th as part of the “Concerts in the Coop” series. Energetic, buoyant, and sometimes a little loopy, it's music guaranteed to please. The band features Jonny Lam on pedal steel (the instrument which lends this genre its characteristic velvety twang), Roy Williams on guitar and piano, Luca Benedetti on electric guitar, Dave Speranza on upright bass and “Coop” favorite Coleman Smith on fiddle. Also, as luck would have it, a cast of top flight musicians will be performing at the Cornstock Acoustic Music Fest in Tunkhannock the same weekend and since they’ll be in this neck of the woods, several are planning to sit in with Honeyfingers here at The Cooperage... as if the band isn't good enough already!

The show begins at 7:30pm, doors open at 6:45pm. BYOB. Donations will be collected at the door.

"Concerts in the Coop" is a monthly summer concert series at The Cooperage arranged by John Kascht that features an eclectic range of seriously good music.
