Halloween in Downtown Lewisburg
Ghosts, goblins, witches and costumed creatures of all shapes and sizes will be welcomed in downtown Lewisburg on Halloween, October 31, for a spooky story time, safe trick or treating at businesses, and for the older costumed creatures, the annual showing of the Rocky Horror Picture show at the Campus Theatre at 9:00 p.m. 
At the Packwood House Museum, Bloomsburg University student Brittiny Seedor will hold spooky story times, telling ghost stories to the gathered children, including Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven” at 5:30, 6:00, and 6:30 p.m., Hot apple cider and refreshments will be available. Kids (and parents) in costume will get candy.
 Starting at 5:45 p.m., many downtown businesses will be handing out treats:  Purple Platypus; Wilson Ross; Greek Isles Salon and Spa; Stay Sweet Cupcakery; Bull Run Tap House; Brushstrokes; ETC Quality Resale Shop; The Styling Nook; Faustina Gallery; Indigo Hair and Nail Studio; Fetch and Play; Styling Nook, Tanning World and Campus Theatre.  Waverly Kennels will be giving out people and dog treats. Tricking treating townwide in the borough of Lewisburg will be permitted from 6 to 9 p.m.
For those feeling vampire-ish, the American Red Cross is holding a blood drive 1pm - 6pm at the Campus Theatre.   The classic 1933 film, the Devil Bat, will run continuously during the blood drive. 
At 9:00 p.m., the Campus will show the Rock-SciFi- Musical Cult Classic Rocky Horror Picture Show, which has become an annual Lewisburg tradition.  Admission is $5 for an additional $5, movie goers can buy a prop bag with everything they need to play along.  No outside props will be permitted.  Show time kicks off with a costume contest with prizes!  Costumes and audience participation are encouraged, but not mandatory.
