  Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for  September 9, 2013.


  On this day in 1956-  Elvis Presley appears on Ed Sullivan's  and moved those hips causing quite the commotion!  And the rest is as they say....history.

 Today's Features: 

  The Greater Pittston Cultural Coalition will host the 5th Annual Pittston River Fest on Saturday, September 21,  from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The Bloomsburg High School varsity football team will wear gold socks during their Sept. 27 game against Montgomery High School.

A local filmmaker will make his feature debut this month with a documentary about the local reaction to the crash of Flight 93 on Sept. 11, 2001.

  On PA LIVE -  Dave Becker is  your producer- 

Star Tresses joins us in the studio with some great fall make up ideas.

  Also, Bret Alexander, the lead singer of the local band the Badlees is here for a live performance
And the Muncheeze Food Truck makes a pit stop in our kitchen to show us some of their unique  grilled cheese ideas.


  On Eyewitness News at Five - Katherine Lachette is your producer.
  John Brdaric, of Brdaric Construction died when the former St. Mary's Church collapsed during demolition earlier today.  The I-Team's Andy Mehalshick is on the story for Eyewitness News.

  Believe it or not- it is the two year anniversary of the 2011 flooding.  Mark Hiller takes a look back at one of the hard hit areas

  The Delaware Water Gap will be featured on the travel channel. Laurie Monteforte will have our story.


  On Eyewitness News at 6 and 11 Kirstin Cook is in for  Lindsay Keeler  as your producer. 

  More on the deadly church collapse in Swoyersville.  Andy Mehalshick will have the story.
