  Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for  September 6, 2013.

We discuss a lot of interesting things in the POD.  Here is today's discussion

  PA Live Producer Dave Becker tells me about a rocket launch that you can see tonight.  It is a probe heading to the moon and blasting off from Virginia.  It will be visible in our area tonight in the Southeast skies around 11:27 pm or a little after tonight.

  Don't forget to join Ken Brown tonight for the Friday Football Show during Eyewitness News at 11 pm.

  A program reminder for Sunday.  Newsmakers will feature the Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children or CASA Program.  Sunday at 6:30 am on WYOU and 11:30 am on WBRE

Neil Waldman will be launching his new book 'Al and Teddy' at The Cooperage at 1030 Main Street in Honesdale on Saturday, September 7 from 1:00 to 3:00pm

Pianist Sezi Seskir will give a concert Sunday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. in the Weis Center for the Performing Arts at Bucknell University. The concert will inaugurate a new grand piano in the lobby.

The Campion Literary Society at King’s College will host a pair of free public events for people interested in creative writing. The events include a writing workshop on the craft of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, and an opening reading to share original work.

  Fred Desanto is charged with theft.  He is the former head of the Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority  The I-Team broke this story a year ago.  Andy Mehalshick will have the latest.
