  It is the last day of the Bloomsburg Fair! Eyewitness News had a great time taking in all the sights, sounds, fun, games...and of course the food!

 Join Eyewitness News Monday for a Special Buddy Check Call in Show.  We will begin our coverage during PA Live and continue through Eyewitness News at 7 pm on WYOU.  We will have a team of doctors answering your questions. Experts in the kitchen to talk about healthy eating habits and great recipes.  Representatives from Candy's Place will be here along with the American Cancer Society, Commonwealth Hospital and Blue Cross of Northeast PA. 
  Don't forget Sunday is the 28th of the month- call your buddy and remind her or him to do a self breast exam.  Check out Monica Madeja's Buddy Check report here on PAHomeage.  This month she sits down with Jenny Allen- a cancer survivor and actress who recently brought her one woman show to the Cooperage in Honesdale.

Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm celebrates their 39th Annual Harvest Festival on October 12th and 13th, 2013 with this year’s theme “ For Everything a Season” which ties in beautifully with the 50th Anniversary

On Saturday October 12th at 7:30pm the Uptown Music Collective, in partnership with the Community Arts Center, will present a fundraising concert, Saturday Night’s Alright: A Concert for the Cure, in support of Avon’s Walk for Breast Cancer.

“Chicago Fire” and “The Blacklist” (in case you missed the pilots) and then a cut-down “SNL” at 10pm with Melissa McCarthy will air on WBRE. More re-run episodes on WYOU----“The Crazy Ones”,
“Mom” and “Hostage” 8-10pm (new season debuts) and then “48 Hours” has the story of 2 murdered teens getting justice 32 years after their bodies were found in CA.
Regular “SNL” is the premiere w/ alum Tina Fey hosting..and Arcade Fire as musical guest.

  NFL on WBRE of course…. Pats @ Atlanta. New animated premieres on WOLF – among them is “The Simpsons” (8pm) where Lisa calls on the FBI to help Homer….and “Family
Guy” (9pm)----is a restaurant placemat really a treasure map? 
“60 Minutes” (WYOU) has an interview with Sect. of State John Kerry…. And Schizophrenia and the Washington Navy Shipyard shooter.
WYOU also has the premiere of “Amazing Race” in Chile…and is Alicia leaving the firm on “The Good Wife”? At 10pm the list of “Red John” suspects is getting shorter (“The Mentalist”).
