  Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for  September 19, 2013.

  Today is  National Butterscotch Pudding Day!

Even better than that...the Shoofly Muffins Howard made in the Mr. Food Test Kitchen during Eyewitness News at noon.  The recipe is on line under the Mr. Food link!

  But, did you know today is also-National Talk like a Pirate Day 2013-  We just discovered this in the newsroom....and everyone is very excited about this!

 Today's Features: 

-The Greater Hazleton Concert Series proudly opens its 2013-2014 season with LETS HANG ON!, the nation's premier Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons Tribute Show.  LETS HANG ON! will appear on Thursday, September 26 at 7:30 PM on stage in the Hazleton High School Auditorium located at 1601 West 23rd Street.

The Lackawanna and Luzerne-Wyoming Area Agencies on Aging and the National Council on Aging (NCOA) are hosting a Flu + You education event and vaccination clinic.  Friday, September 20th, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  at PNC Field, Club Level, 235 Montage Mountain Road, Moosic, 

he Northeast Pennsylvania Child Passenger Safety Taskforce's "Safe Ride Program" is requesting donations from the community to help develop a fund to purchase car seats in NEPA.
