  Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for  October 7, 2013.

  Today is National  Pierogies Day!  And not to be forgotten it is also National Frappe Day!

 Today's Features: 
- The State Museum of Pennsylvania will celebrate the harvest season with free, family-friendly activities during "Night of the Great Pumpkin," Friday, Oct. 18, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. 

State Rep. Kevin Haggerty, will hold a veterans outreach event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at his district office here, which is located at 1414 Monroe Ave.

An Open House on Sunday, Oct. 27, will enable prospective students and families to explore the diverse "degrees that work" that are the hallmark of a Pennsylvania College of Technology Education in Williamsport.
