A Fundraiser for Syrian refugees on Saturday, October 19 at Saint Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 905 South Main Street in Wilkes-Barre . The event is open the public and feature refreshments and a silent auction with a number of items up for bid. Children are invited to create a greeting card that will be sent to the children of Syria. The feature speaker for the evening will be Father Nawras Samour, SJ, the director of the Middle East Jesuit Refugee Service. The silent auction fundraiser will take place from 7 pm to 8 pm at the Church. Father Samour will give a presentation at 8:30 pm.
 

The 3rd American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Wyoming Valley event. It will begin at 9:30 a.m. in Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre.

 
Helping Jules Heal- a fundraiser for six year old Juliana Ziomkowski will be held on Saturday, October 19 at the Ashley Firemen's Grounds, located at 160 Ashley Street in Ashley...event runs from 11 am to 11 pm. Juliana was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.


High School and College Football- Join Paul Grippi for all of your football scores and highlights on
Chevy Sports Saturday on WYOU following Eyewitness News at 11 pm!

Generations of Energy Segment: The traditional solar panel is stationary ... but this Sunday, we'll take you to the University of Scranton where they have state of the art panels that turn with the sun!

Check out the aprons created by students in the Greater Hazleton Area School District. WBRE 7:30-11pm is USC @ Notre Dame college football. . And it’s primetime comedy repeats 8-10pm on WOLF. "SNL" is a repeat of the premiere with alum Tina Fey…so if you’ve already seen it, "Chevy Sports Saturday" and "Beer Geeks" on WYOU are new!

and at 9:30pm, Alicia tries to get files from the Firm (before she leaves that is!)—all WYOU.
WBRE has the Broncos @ Colts,--8-11:30pm tonight. "Once Upon A Time"
If needed, it will be Game #7 in Boston of the MLB….if not, "animation domination" rules with a lineup of "Simpsons", "Bob’s Burgers", etc…. 7-10pm on WOLF.
