  Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for  October 17, 2013.

 Today's Features: 

Chef Kristi Ritchey, who graduated from Penn College with a degree in culinary arts technology in 2002 and is executive chef for Greenleaf Gourmet Chopshop, with locations in Beverly Hills, Century City and Costa Mesa, Calif. will headline the  Visiting Chef Dinner, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the college's Le Jeune Chef Restaurant.  The story has all the details about tickets and more.

  The Wayne Pike Resources Fair will held October 21 from 4 to 7 at the Wallenpaupack North Intermediate School Gym. The event is the perfect opportunity to see what services are available in your county. A variety of agencies, support staff and businesses will be hand to answer questions.

  On PA LIVE -  Dave Becker is  your producer- 

  In the PA LIVE Kitchen:  Chef Biagio Dente,  Chef John Witkowski and Che Blaise Dente all here!  From Dente's Catering.
They will be joined by Ray Bartolai from Bartolai Winery.
  They will be preparing Chicken Apple-tini and will be talking about The Rhythm and Wine event coming up for Catholic Social Services.

  In our Jive at Five Segment: Pianist Paul Oschal will be here...

 Then..The Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre will be here to perform a selection from their upcoming production of "National Past Time"

On Eyewitness News at Five-  Katherine Lachette is your producer.
  The I-Team's Andy Mehalshick will have the latest on the Baby Homicide in Wilkes-Barre.

  The Hanover Township Community Ambulance is hosting several fundraisers  a woman and a child battling cancer.  One of the fundraiser involves signing the ambulance!  Mark Hiller  will have our story.

  On Eyewitness News at 6 and 11  Lindsay Keeler  is your producer

  It is day two of suspended Old Forge Police Chief Larry Semenza's trial.
  It's been nearly two years since a brutal slashing of a Nanticoke woman.  There are new developments in the case and we will hear from the victim.  The I-Team's Andy Mehalshick will have our story.

 14 mile  Detour up ahead- there are new weight restrictions on Route 309 Bow Creek Bridge in Wright Township. What this all means to drivers.  Mark Hiller hits the road for the story.
