  Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for  October 10, 2013.

  It is truly a fall day! A little dreary out- but there is good news to share...(enter drum roll here)
  For the first time in 30 years, Hershey is launching a new soft caramel creme candy!  That is big news for all of the Newsroom candy lovers.  I will have some soon at my desk- friends!  (That is a newsroom confidential!)



 

  Plus, I want to tell you about a new link here on PA Homepage. Web Extras-  I will be adding stories of interest from across the nation and some that have aired in our newscasts.  Today- one school's policy not to shake hands after games.

  The I-Team's Andy Mehalshick will be presenting his "Stranger Danger" program tonight at Hanover Area  Memorial Elementary School on Saint Mary Road in Hanover Township.  The event begins at 6:30 pm and this event is open to the public.


  Our 10 pm producer Caitlin Rowe  spoke today at Misercordia University as part of the "Media Immersion Panel".  Caitlin is a graduate of Misercordia.  She talked  about her job here at Eyewitness News and Fox 56 First at Ten

 Happy National PA Week!
Students in Pennsylvania College of Technology's physician assistant program were among participants across the United States celebrating National PA Week, held Oct. 6-12.



The Misericordia University Dead Alchemist Society is planning to present an expanded spectacle for the student organization's 22nd annual "Things that go Boom in the Night!'' on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Wells Fargo Amphitheater on campus. The event is open free to the public.


  The Jessup Art Loop is this Saturday!  Downtown Jessup from 3 to 8 pm-  you are invite to come out and experience this wonderful event
