  Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for  November 5, 2013. 

  Reminder the polls are open until 8 pm. Cast your vote then watch your vote count on Eyewitness News.
 
  There is a different vibe in the Newsroom on Election Day. All hands are on deck for tonight- our crews will be out and about covering the races that are important to you and your community.  Producer Dave Becker will be handling our tabulations as he does every year! Dave is right now preparing for an evening of numbers. 


  We have a number of TV sets in our Newsroom... I just saw Jack Jones singing on "The Talk" on WYOU-  still good looking and sounds great.  Ok - now back to work.


  Ok foodies!  You know what sounds good.  Pumpkin Mac and Cheese!  Plus a roasted pear salad!  That's what's cooking in the PA Live Kitchen Today!

 Today's Features: 

  "The Art and Illustrations of Zelda Fitzgerald" runs Nov. 14 through Dec. 15 at the gallery located on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Madigan Library.


Kerby Confer, a longtime broadcaster who was "on the air" in cities including Williamsport, Harrisburg, Syracuse, Baltimore and Washington, D.C., is sponsoring a National Radio Talent Institute at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, beginning in summer 2014.


  Casting Call:  Lee LaChette, Artistic Director at the  Phoenix Performing Arts Centre in Duryea has some upcoming auditions for shows!


 
  On PA LIVE -  Dawn Miller is in  Dave Becker As  your producer-  Dave Becker is working on our Election Coverage

 

  In the PA LIVE Kitchen:  Chef Ruth Corcoran from "Cork Bar and Restaurant" in Wilkes-Barre is in our Kitchen today.  Chef Ruth is preparing Pumpkin Baked Mac and Cheese and a Roasted Pear Salad.


  PA Live Style Guide Paul Nardone will join us with some of the latest fall trends, on a budget of course.

  We'll tell you about Champ's Cause. Lynn Carle and her husband Tom established Champ's Cause in memory of their beautiful 18-month old, Ethan, who passed away on May 9, 2012 after a very brief battle with a rare disorder called HLH (Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis).  There is an upcoming event on November 9th.

  No power at a polling place in Olyphant. Eric Deabill will tell us how voting officials handled the situation.

A growing trend across the country- Meth Making at Hotels.  Police are warning hotel employees to keep an eye for possible meth making operations.  The I-Team's Andy Mehalshick will have our story.
 

  A good news story!  A Luzerne County School is celebrating a big cross country win.  Photo Journalist Lonnie Miller checked it out for us.


  Clang, clang went the trolley! Our Valerie Tysanner is checking out a Trolley that is running on Natural Gas.




 
  On Eyewitness News at 6 and 11  Lindsay Keeler  is your producer

  Eric Deabill takes a look at the Murder-Suicide investigation underway at Abington Manor Nursing Home.
 
  And it is Election Day! We will preview a number of the races that we are covering.
