Program Reminder: The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute is the focus of the Sunday's Newsmakers on WBRE and WYOU. The monthly public affairs program is hosted by Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and the I-Team's Andy Mehalshick.
The panel will discuss the Cancer Institutes's many programs and outreach services. They will also talk about the Cancer Institute's recent Health study with people who live the Marcellus Shale region; The New Patient Navigation Program, along with details about the upcoming Cancer Survivors Celebration.
Newsmakers airs Sunday, July 14 at 6:30 am on WYOU and will also air at 11:30 am on WBRE.
This Sunday's Generation of Energy Segment: The Marcellus Shale is having a positive effect on many communities. In Lycoming County-it means more business for restaurants and hotels and more money to attract people to the area as a tourist destination. Drew Speier will have the story for you Sunday night at 11 pm.

Saturday, July 13
Mets vs. Pirates 7-10pm on WOLF (if runover, 10pm news goes to WSWB!).
WBRE has an "American Girl" movie ("Saige Paints The Sky") 8-10pm - about art and friendship....at a 10pm there will be a repeat of "Get Out Alive With Bear Grylls" (last minute change by NBC!).
Double hit of "48 Hours" 9pm and 10pm---both updated stories---9pm is the "Barefoot Bandit" and 10pm is the murder of Miami hotel royalty. "SNL" is a repeat with Zach Galifianakis as host.
Sunday, July 14
"60 Minutes" is about the "Angel of Death"....and tortoises ....(7pm) and then there's more "Big Brother" action at 8pm (both WYOU). Repeats on WBRE but at 10pm "Crossing
Lines" has the team tracking the kidnapper of a wealthy teen. . Lots of animated repeats on WOLF 7-10pm.
