  Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for  January 15, 2014
  Today is National Dress Up Your Pet Day!  Interesting- An Emperor Penguin was all dressed up to visit the The Montessori School in Kingston today- we have video to share with you.

  My Favorite pothole now has an orange cone alerting drivers!  I am thinking it will soon be patched-and the ride will be smooth......I will keep you posted.

  The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees) welcome the NEPA area to audition to sing the National Anthem before RailRiders games this upcoming season at PNC Field. Tryouts will be held at the Steamtown Mall in downtown Scranton on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

-Bright Lights, Fit City is hosting an afternoon of football and fun at Rodano’s, 53 Public Square on January 19 from 1:00-4:00p.m. This event will benefit the Wilkes-Barre Community.

  An arrest is made in a Wilkes-Barre deadly shooting.  The I-Team's Andy Mehalshick will have more on the story he first told us about on Eyewitness News at Noon.

  A special mass was held today for Father Joseph Kopacz who is the Bishop Elect of Jackson, Mississippi.  Father Kopacz is a priest in the Scranton Diocese.  Eric Deabill will have our story.


  Good News!  Happy Birthday Anna Maslowski of Plymouth.  She is 102 years young today.  We are helping her celebrate!  Many blessings to Anna.

  The State Investigation into possible Ghost Riders at the Luzerne County Transportation Authority is moving foreward.  There are allegations that bus drivers were told to pad ridership numbers.  The I-Team's Andy Mehalshick will have new developments.

  Ok…so "Idol" is back….with judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban for this season….let the auditions begin! (8pm WOLF.)
WBRE---"SVU" at 9pm….Amaro's badge is on the line, will he lose it? And on "Chicago PD"---did the Columbian gang kidnap Antonio's son? "Criminal Minds" (9pm) we see Garcia reconnecting  with a former flame of hers….and later "CSI" deals with petty theft on a plane ….that leads to murder!
  David Letterman has Kevin Hart, Jay Leno sits with Vanessa Hudgens all in Late Night.
