Program Reminder!

 “Veterans Views” is the topic of this Sunday’s Newsmakers Program on WBRE and WYOU.  The public affairs program is hosted by Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and Lead I-Team Reporter Andy Mehalshick.
  Bugda and Mehalshick welcome as their guests the team from Eyewitness News Veterans Views.  Host Judge Tom Munley along with Attorney Larry Moran Jr. and Luke Brennan will talk about a number of issues that face our area veterans.  Jobs, the G-I Bill, homeless veterans, veteran’s court and post-traumatic stress disorder will be discussed.  Judge Munley, Moran and Brennan along with David Wenzel are featured everyday on Eyewitness News in the very popular Veterans Views segment. 
  Newsmakers will air this Sunday, January 12 at 6:30 am on WYOU and  at 11:30 am on WBRE.

 -Generations of Energy Segment: Take a look at the past, present and the future-of energy sources in our region.  At this year's "Pennsylvania Farm Show" in Harrisburg,  visitors  learned about the latest energy practices .. from wind, to bio fuels.  You can learn more on this week’s Generations of Energy with Drew Speier this Sunday at 11 pm on Eyewitness News.

Let’s go to the hop! The Wyoming Area Music Sponsors will host their 2nd Annual SOCK  HOP  on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 8 PM to Midnight at the West Wyoming Hose Company at 926 Shoemaker Ave. West Wyoming.  This event benefits music program in school!
The Weis Center for the Performing Arts at Bucknell University will feature nearly dozen events from January through April; three events are free. All events are open to the public. The  spring events include world music, jazz, blues, modern dance, classical, and a kid-friendly performance.

a spy ring…being murdered!  (WYOU) 
It’s the “Golden Globe”s” 8-11pm on WBRE….with funny ladies Fey and Poehler hosting (should be a hoot!).   
  WOLF has the “Simpsons” (8pm)---with Homer giving dating  advice and then Bob becomes the victim of a curse on “Bob’s Burgers” at 8:30pm.
