  Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for  August 12, 2013.

Now a word about Mosquitoes- and this reminder. 
  The Luzerne County West Nile Program will be conducting an ultra-low volume (ULV) mosquito control operation to reduce high populations of mosquitoes capable of transmitting West Nile Virus on August 14, 2013 in parts of Edwardsville Borough, Forty Fort Borough, Hanover Township, Kingston Township, Nanticoke City, Plymouth Township, Swoyersville Borough, West Wyoming Borough, and Wyoming Borough.

  Today's Features: 
  The fifth annual  Paige Ceaser Concert and Motorcycle Ride to benefit the Northeast PA Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be held on August 18th.

On Saturday, August 24th, 10:00 AM -2:00 PM Pocono Community Church (PCC) is hosting "A Day of Hope". 

  If you love crafts-there is news about the American Red Cross Craft show!

  There's a new program in Monroe County to help Homeless Vets get back on track with their lives.  Laurie Monteforte will have more.
