Please join us for a special celebration of locally grown and produced foods and beverages of Northeast Pennsylvania!

 

FARM TO TABLE premiered in 2011 as a new educational and fund raising venture for the Everhart Museum. Thanks to overwhelming community support and interest, it is now an annual event we can look forward to!

 

FARM TO TABLE events will take place on Saturday, September 7th and Friday, September 20th as described in greater detail in the information found further in this e-news.

Join the Everhart Museum on Saturday, September 7th for an afternoon of educational demonstrations and hands-on activities focused on locally grown and produced foods. The family-friendly programs will take place at the Everhart Museum and on its grounds in Nay Aug Park.

  

Local presenters include: The Greenhouse Project, Naturalist Jane Frye, NEPA Swappers, Yoga Instructor Erin Malloy and more!

NEPA Swappers Food Swap (advanced registration is required)

Hands-on Crafts: potato stamps, button napkin rings, pressed leaf placemats

Come and join Naturalist Jane Frye for a Wild Edible Plants Walk on the historic Davis Trail in Nay Aug Park to learn some of the areas wild edible, poisonous and invasive plants

  

 

Admission to these activities is included with general museum admission.

Farm to Table

September 20th: Farm to Table Dinner
   

On Friday, September 20, 2013 FARM TO TABLE returns for the third year. Chefs Cliff and Dave Daniels of Epicurean Delight are preparing a menu crafted from the best foods grown or produced in Northeast Pennsylvania. And our bar will feature seasonal cocktails, beer, and wine.

     This family-style dinner will be held on the grounds of the Museum which will be transformed by Duffy Event Design. Entertainment will be provided and guests are invited to dance under the stars. Participation is limited to those 21 and older.

     The cost for FARM TO TABLE includes all food, beverage and entertainment. Participation is limited to those 21 and older. Individual tickets are $100/person or $125/person for a Patron Ticket. 

     Please note that your credit card receipt is your "ticket" for this event. Names will be held at the door and any special requests should be emailed called in to 570.346.7186. Tickets may also be purchased online
