Winter Botany Field Day

February 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Keystone College Environmental Education Institute (KCEEI) will present a winter botany field day on Saturday, February 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lackawanna Hall. Botanist Bill Olson will explain how to identify plants and tress in their seasonal guise using twigs, seed stalks, rosettes, and other clues. Using Keystone’s 170-acre Woodlands Campus, participants will learn how the natural world adapts to the changing seasons. The hands-on workshop will be held both indoors and outside, so participants should dress appropriately.
Cost is $50 for the public and $25 for students and includes lunch. Pre-registration is required with Sharon Burke at (570) 945-8555 or sharon.burke@keystone.edu.
