Williamsport Man Locked Up For Robbing Family Dollar

Christopher Robbins of Williamsport is in Lycoming County Prison after allegedly robbing a Family Dollar in Old Lycoming Township and grabbed the clerk.
Williamsport, Lycoming County- Police in Central Pennsylvania have charged a man with robbing a Family Dollar in Old Lycoming Township.

The robbery happened at the Lycoming Creek Road location on May 2nd.

According to police, 23 year old Christopher Robbins grabbed the clerk and threatened to stab the cashier if he didn't get any cash.

Robbins allegedly got an undetermined about of cash and fled the scene.

He was later spotted and apprehended at his residence as a nearby employee from another store caught the license plate.

Robbins was charged with two counts of robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, unlawful restraint, reckless endangering, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime and terroristic threats.

Robbins is locked up in Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $300,000.00 bail.
