Update: Wilkes-Barre Hutson Street Shooting

Wilkes-Barre police have filed arrest warrants for 37 year old Tony Ransome and his wife 39 year old Treasa Ransome.
Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County- The I-Team's Andy Mehalshick reports arrest warrants have been filed for two suspects in the shooting on Hutston Street in Wilkes-Barre Thursday morning and the victim has been identified.

 
Wilkes-Barre police have filed arrest warrants for 37 year old Tony Ransome and his wife 39 year old Treasa Ransome. They live several doors away from where the shooting took place. The victim has been identified as Josue Vargas, who lived at 62 Hutson Street.  According to arrest warrant affidavits -Tony Ransome allegedly fired five shots at Vargas with a shotgun.  Investigators say Vargas had an argument with Trease Ransome. At some point Tony Ransome confronted Vargas and that's when the shots were fired. Vargas  remains hospitalized on Friday. According to court documents, witnesses saw Tony Fansone leaving the scene carrying a black shotgun.  Police say the Ransomes are considered armed and dangerous.  If you have any information on this case call Wilkes-Barre Police or 9-1-1
