United Way Day of Caring Underway in the Wyoming Valley

Hundreds of volunteers are taking part in the annual event.
Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County- More than 700 volunteers are out in the Wyoming Valley helping the community as part of the United Way's Day of Caring in the Wyoming Valley.
  One of the projects underway Friday morning is the cleanup at Nesbitt and Kirby Parks.
     Volunteers are cleaning along the Riverfront by picking up garbage, cutting down weeds, gardening and weeding.
     More than three dozen project sites throughout the Wyoming Valley benefit from this United Way Day of Caring.
