Tanis Facing More Charges

Officials took John Tanis into custody just before Noon on Tuesday.
Moosic, Lackawanna County- A Lackawanna County man accused of repeated animal abuse violations is in custody again. 

Officials took John Tanis into custody just before Noon on Tuesday.
  On Monday police were at his  Main Street Home in Moosic again  after a dog was spotted on his back roof.
  Just last week police took four additional dogs from his home.
Pending the outcome of an upcoming animal cruelty case Tanis is only allowed to have one dog in his care.
  Tanis was told by a judge that if he followed the rules his bail wouldn't be revoked, but Eyewitness News has learned that after the most recent infraction a judge has signed an order to send Tanis to jail.
