Start and Swap Seeds March 4 at Public Library

The seed starting workshop and seed swap is free and open to the public; registration is not needed.
The Lewisburg Community Garden and the Office of Civic Engagement at Bucknell University are sponsoring a Seed Starting Workshop with Seed Swap on Tuesday, March 4, at 7 p.m. at the Public Library for Union County, located at 255 Reitz Blvd. in Lewisburg.  
Bucknell biology professor Mark Spiro will lead the 45-minute workshop, to be followed by a seed swap. Local gardeners are invited to attend and to bring seeds to exchange.
The seed starting workshop and seed swap is free and open to the public; registration is not needed.
A joint project between Bucknell University and the Borough of Lewisburg, the Lewisburg Community Garden is located on the corner of North Water Street and St. Anthony's Street. The garden features individual plots for groups, families or individuals interested in gardening as well as a larger area worked by student and community volunteers to provide produce for local hot meal programs and other food programs.
