Spin for Life Event Held

The proceeds go to the Brandon J. Case memorial scholarship fund at King's College and to Candy's Place.
The 13th annual Spin for Life was spinning was held in Luzerne County Saturday. Hundreds of cyclists helped raise money in memory of a King's College student who died of cancer. Paulzbiek started "Spin for Life" back in 2001, two years after his 21-year old step son Brandon lost his battle with leukemia. Over 240 cyclists joined him Saturday in a challenge at Candy's Place in Forty Fort that gets longer each year.
  Zbiek cycles one hour for each year Brandon would have been alive. This year’s task --35 hours  Saturday's Spin for Life was also to help raise awareness of the deadly disease. The proceeds go to the Brandon J. Case memorial scholarship fund at King's College and to Candy's Place.
