New Info on"Significant Oil Spill" in Lackawanna River

D.E.P. says besides containing the spill, the department also determined, aquatic life was not harmed.
Scranton, Lackawanna County-Officials now say a theft lead to last week's major oil spill in the Lackawanna River.

The Department of Environmental Protection says someone stole a brass valve and fitting causing the tank to leak.

The owner of the property is paying for the clean-up and working with State Officials.
