Second Arrest in Hazleton Beating-

AJ Goryl's Parents Tell the I-Team they are happy police caught those involved
Hazleton, Luzerne County- A second arrest has been made in connection with a brutal attack on a Hazleton man in 2013.
    Roberto Plasencia of Hazleton is accused of trying to destroy evidence in the assault on 34-year-old  Andrew "A.J."  Goryl.
    Goryl was found beaten unconscious near Fifth and Locust Streets in the early morning hours of March 10th 2013.
    Hazleton police arrested Ronald Tavarez  Last Friday.
    They say he is the one who beat him.
    Goryl's parents say the last year and a half has been tough. They talked with the I-Team's Andy Mehalshick
"We are delighted, Andy. It was the longest 18 months of my life with me and her went through.  We can't put it into words. We are delighted they finally caught them."
 
    Goryl remains in rehabilitation recovering for severe head and facial injuries.
