"Scobstacle" Planned for the United Way

Marywood Students plan a Scobstacle -a combination of a color run, obstacle course and scavenger hunt.
Scranton, Lackawanna County- Students from Marywood University are looking to help recruit volunteers for the United Way. The students are planning a new event -- called a Scob-Stacle for this Saturday (April 5). It is a combination of a color run, obstacle course and scavenger hunt.  On Tuesday, the students were testing how much holi powder will be need to coat the runners. The students are hoping to raise money -- and inspire more students to volunteer for the United Way. The Event costs 15- dollars a person. Registration starts at 3:00 pm Saturday, at the former Scranton State School for the Deaf Building, which is now owned by Marywood.
