Savino Sentencing

A Lackawanna County man pleaded guilty to threatening President Obama and was sentenced in court Wednesday morning.
Scranton, Lackawanna County- A Lackawanna County man was sentenced in Federal Court for making threats against the president.
Nicholas Savino was sentenced to one year in prison.  He pleaded guilty for making threats against President Obama.  Police say Savino made the threats in the days before President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden's visit to Scranton last August.  Savino's attorney said he never intended to carry out the threat, he was just angry he did not receive his pilot's license.  
    Savino has already served 10 months in prison.  He could be released in 2 months.   Eyewitness News Reporter Eric Deabill will have more on later editions of Eyewitness News.
