Recall: Red Vine Licorice

Red Vines Licorice recalled due to high lead levels.
The maker of Red Vines has issued a voluntary recall of some of its licorice.
The move comes after the California Department of Public Health said testing revealed levels of lead that are more than double what's considered safe for children.
The agency says the high levels of lead were found in 16-ounce bags of Black Licorice Twists labeled "best before February 4th, 2013."
The company is asking customers not to eat the candy in question and instead return it where they bought it for a full refund.

If you have questions or concerns,   call  the Company's Consumer Response line at 866-442-2783.
