Isis Brown of Hanover Township was charged with Homicide in the beating death of her 78 year old aunt Dorothy Koreny. The attack happened in the early morning hours of March 28th at the home they shared at 33 Solomon Street in Hanover Township. Koreny survived the attack and told police that Brown shoved her over a railing on the front porch and threw household items on top of her. Koreny died on April 8th from severe trauma to her face and head. The attack was recorded by a neighbor's security camera. Sheldon Arnold installed the camera after repeated problems with Brown. Arnold told Eyewitness News, "It is horrifying and gut wrenching to see what happened right here. I hope we can move forward as a neighborhood." Mary Anne Revit lives four doors away from the Koreny home and added, "I am no longer afraid to walk on the road because you never knew if Brown was going to driver her car right at you." Koreny said noting as she left the courtroom of District Judge Joe Halesey in Hanover Township Thursday morning. She remains locked up and will have a hearing in several weeks.
