Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County - A Luzerne County college students is interning on "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

The show, following the "Tonight Show," debuted Monday night with guest appearances from Amy Pohler and Vice President Joe Biden and Kings College junior Casey Waslasky was there!

Waslansky is interning for the show and commuting from Wilkes-Barre to New York City twice a week.  He says got the gig by making connection during an internship with the Today Show and is letting us in on some late show secrets.  "He'll come out and do a monolog rehearsal and he'll prep jokes that could potentially be seen for later that night and the jokes that were funny, make the cut, and the jokes that were not are left on the floor," he says.

Maybe someday we will see Casey behind that late night desk, as he aspires to be a talk show host.  In the meantime, you can catch "Late Night with Seth Meyers" at 12:35a.m., after "The Tonight Show" on WBRE.
