Local Historic Battles: A Look Back

Jim Hillestad, a local military historian in the Poconos, was recently influenced by these two sites and created a toy soldier diorama to depict these battles that were going on.
A Look Back:

During The Revolutionary War our area saw small battles within the war. 

The Iroquois Indians and British Tories against the settlers. 

From The Hungry Hill Site in Pocono Summit to the Wyoming Massacre Monument in Wyoming. 

The scars of war can still be remembered.
