Stroudsburg, Monroe County -- A nine-year-old girl on vacation in Arizona accidentally shot and killed her instructor during a shooting lesson at a gun range.

Harry Miller teaches gun safety to children, and adults, at Pocono Pistol Club in Stroudsburg.

He said the range safety officers are trained and certified through the National Rifle Association.

Children must be at least 14 years old, and accompanied by a parent, to step foot on the range.

All shooters are required to fill out the proper paperwork and watch a safety video.

Pocono Pistol Club does not offer any fully automatic weapons, and the safety officers keep a watchful eye on the range at all times.
