LCTA Extends Administrative Leave For Two Officials Indicted In Ghost Rider Probe

The LCTA met for the first time since indictments were filed against its Executive Director and it's Director of Operations.
The LCTA voted unanimously in an emergency meeting to extend the Administrative Leave for Executive Director Stanley Strelish and Robb Henderson, the Operations Director. Both were indicted last week by a Statewide Grand Jury in the ongoing ghost rider investigation. Investigators say they inflated senior ridership numbers so the LCTA could receive more state funding. The LCTA met in executive session behind closed doors for about 90 minutes to discuss their action.. LCTA solicitor Attorney Joe Blazosek said, "They can use vacation time, sick time and personal days things like that. They will not be getting a paycheck per se it is benefits they have accrued." Some board members told the I-Team they felt it was a fair move as the Strelish and Henderson cases make their way through the courts.
