Holy Ghost Tent Revival At the Cooperage

Holy Ghost Tent Revival has been heralded since 2007 for delivering a fast-paced, horn-driven rock and roll experience - crashing, oohing, wailing, and perhaps even shredding.
On Friday, April 25th, Holy Ghost Tent Revival will be at The Cooperage, located at 1030 Main Street in Honesdale, PA.  Please note that this concert will be starting later than usual.  Doors will open at 7:45pm and the show will start at 8:30pm.
Holy Ghost Tent Revival has been heralded since 2007 for delivering a fast-paced, horn-driven rock and roll experience - crashing, oohing, wailing, and perhaps even shredding.
It all comes straight from the heads and hearts of its talented young performers: six handsome gents from North Carolina who write dynamic, authentic songs and spend a whole lot of time traveling in a van together. Thanks to tastefully gritty guitars, bombastic drums and plunky bass -- not to mention the awesome vocal harmonies and the flourishing brass of trumpet and trombone -- Holy Ghost Tent Revival delivers catchy, danceable numbers that will leave you humming and grinning time and time again.
"[These] guys have really got something!" says Chris Hillman of The Byrds and Flying Burrito Brothers. ”….Soul-inspired rock, that maintains a rootsy sound, brightened by warm swells of horns and rich harmonies.”
Since 2009, Holy Ghost Tent Revival has played about one hundred fifty shows each year, on both coasts and in many places in between!  The Cooperage Project is happy to have these talented performers hit the stage on April 25th.
Come one and come all for a good time! The music begins at 8:30pm, with doors opening at 7:45pm.  BYOB. Donations collected at the door.

The “Concerts in the Coop” performances take place on the last Friday of each month between April and October. The series is arranged by local artist John Kascht, who began the last friday tradition nearly a decade ago in his (honest to goodness) chicken coop.  The Cooperage is operated by the The Cooperage Project, is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization that seeks to build community through performance, learning and good times.
