   Eyewitness News Daybreak Anchor Monica Madeja is on the run this weekend.  Monica will be participating in the annual Jewish Community Center and Temple Isreal "Mayrutz Run" on Sunday, December 1.  It will begin at 4:30 pm and lead up to the Outdoor Candle Lighting of the Menorah.  The Jewish Community Center is also having its annual Chanukah Dinner.  If you would like to attend call the Jewish Community Center at 570-824-4646-ext 246.
   Eyewitness News Production Assistant Jason Cohen will be participating in the lighting of the Outdoor Menorah Lighting.

   Sports Photo Journalist Richie Charneski has our weekend sports highlights:  The State Double A Playoffs Troy facing Berks Catholic at Towanda High School.  Joe Garrison will be covering the game for Sports.   In College Football-The Bloomsburg University Huskies host West Chester at Noon in the NCAA District Two Tournament Game.
     Penn State is finishing the season at Wisconsin, the kick off is set for 3:30 pm.  
   The Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins are on the Road.  
    Plus, the UNICO Football game will be played at 3 pm at Lake Lehman High School Stadium

Johnson College Architectural Drafting and Design Technology students from the class of 2013 came together to design the new facade of a building on Scranton’s Courthouse Square
The King’s College choir, Cantores Christi Regis, will celebrate the holiday season with free public performances at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, and Saturday, Dec. 7, in the J. Carroll McCormick Campus Ministry Center, located at North Franklin and West Jackson streets.

The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple will present its 2ndAnnual Buy Local Holiday Marketplace on Sunday December 1st, from 11:00am – 4:00pm.

  A flying squirrel shows a reindeer how to “soar” on “The Night Before Christmas” (8pm) and then there’s “The Story of Santa Claus” at 9pm….while at 10pm on “48 Hours”, a man who was tried 3 times for killing his family….walks away free!  (All WYOU.) 
A repeat of  “The National Dog Show” airs at 8pm on WBRE (btw, the same dog wins Best of Show!).
  While over on WOLF (7-10:30pm) it’s Notre Dame taking on Stanford (10pm news goes to WSWB!).  “SNL” is a re-do of the
Kerry Washington episode, but “Beer Geeks” is a whole new brew at 11:30pm on WYOU!

 WBRE of course has NFL ---NY Giants @ Washington.  “60 Minutes” at 7:30pm---the craziness of the holiday season at “Amazon”, restoring The Capitol (Washington, DC) and the extreme sport of free diving. 

On “The Amazing Race”---would you eat a snake for a million bucks? (8:30pm) On “The Good Wife” at 9:30pm, Alicia is set to inherit millions---or will she?  Tune in to find out!
