  Becoming an American Red Cross Blood or Platelet donor is the focus of the July Newsmakers Program which airs this Sunday, July 13.  The monthly public affairs program is hosted by Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and the I-Team’s Andy Mehalshick. 
 
Blood Donations help many people every day- and that’s all in thanks to those who faithfully donate blood and platelets.  Joining Bugda and Mehalshick will be Robert Kessler - Chief Executive Officer  American Red Cross  Penn-Jersey / Northeastern Pennsylvania Blood Services Region; Jodi Ferris – Blood Recipient; Peter Bonczewski – For the Love of Pete Organizer; and William Goldsworthy – Platelet Donor.
Newsmakers will air Sunday, July 20 at 11:30 am on WBRE.  More information is available on PAHomepage.Com.

See the team in action!  Members of the Eyewitness News team will be playing in a  benefit game for Annah Delong of Lawton, Susquehanna County.  Saturday, June 19  at noon in Lawton.    Annah is a 12 year old injured in an accident who is currently being treated at the Janet Weis Children's Hospital in Danville.  Organizers are putting this game together to help offset the costs to the family.

accused of rape.  “60 Minutes” (7pm) has billionaires giving to charity…and story of a man who saved 105 Vietnamese back in 1975.  “Unforgettable” --- Carrie recognizes a dead city official….from an underground casino…but what was she doing at the casino?  Tune in to fine out!
