  Becoming an American Red Cross Blood or Platelet donor is the focus of the July Newsmakers Program which airs this Sunday, July 13.  The monthly public affairs program is hosted by Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and the I-Team’s Andy Mehalshick. 
 Blood Donations help many people every day- and that’s all in thanks to those who faithfully donate blood and platelets.  Joining Bugda and Mehalshick will be Robert Kessler - Chief Executive Officer  American Red Cross  Penn-Jersey / Northeastern Pennsylvania Blood Services Region; Jodi Ferris – Blood Recipient; Peter Bonczewski – For the Love of Pete Organizer; and William Goldsworthy – Platelet Donor.
Newsmakers will air Sunday, July 13 at 6:30 am on WYOU.  The program will also air on Sunday, July 20 at 11:30 am on WBRE.  More information is available on PAHomepage.Com.

Keystone’s College’s Dog Tags to Desk Tops program - The goal of Dog Tags to Desk Tops is to inform and advise local veterans on how they can best use the benefits they have accrued under their GI-Bill to help plan for and lead a productive and meaningful life.
 
Gianni Iona of Wallenpaupack Area High School was one of 10 selected participants in the SADD youth advocacy institute, SADD SPEAKs (Students for Policy, Education, Advocacy and Knowledge)  in Washington, DC.

WYOU is a double-hit of “Bad Teacher” 8-9pm (Meredith chases the school’s vegan chef…and then she tries to raise $$$ for an apartment)….and later, on “48 Hours” there’s one dead body---will it be the fashion designer gf or the son of the celebrity/Oscar-winner?  Tune in to find out.

  “60 Minutes” goes inside nuclear missile control centers and…. Who owns the art that Hitler stole during WWII?  “Unforgettable” (now at 9pm) has Carrie dealing with a
Murdered reporter…and “Reckless” (at 10pm)---watch as Roy and Jamie face off!  All WYOU. 
WBRE has a double-hit of “SVU” tonight (both repeats)---Benson gets 24/7 security..and then
she has to choose between her convictions…and her badge.   
WOLF at 7pm is “Brain vs. Body Games” --- tune in to see how the brain really works.  Rest of the FOX night is repeat comedies.
