  Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for  February 19, 2014.

  "Aaugh" in the words of Charlie Brown-  Sloppy outside -plus having a bad hair day!  There is no pleasing me this winter.

  I did enjoy Ice Dancing on the Olympics last night and Jimmy Fallon's first show. 

  For everyone keeping track at home today is National Drink Wine Day- Cheers.
 

  We begin a new feature tonight on our late edition of Eyewitness News- entitled-  "Get to Know".  Tonight we'll Get to Know our friend- Laurie Monteforte.  Not only a good reporter but a wonderful baker!
  That is tonight on Eyewitness News at 11 pm on WYOU and following the Olympic on WBRE.

  Also, Monica Madeja is introducing us to the Russian Word of the Day- Kim Kulagin of Scranton is our translator. 


  Join Ken Brown in the Ozone tonight at 7:30  pm.  Tonight Ken will feature  Curling Etiquette. 
  Then we will meet Gracie Gold and her twin sister who is also a competitive skater.
  We will also go shopping in Sochi with Matt Lauer.

  The Greater Hazleton Y has a new program entitled, "The 18 Days on the Road to Sochi"; it runs until February 23rd. The object of this program three-fold:  Building support for Team USA as they follow their Olympic Dream; to encourage our member to seek and fulfill their own personal fitness goals and; we are supporting one of our employees, Bill Gerhard whose son, Chad, is currently in Sochi. as Strength and Conditioning Coach for the U.S. Snowboard Halfpipe and U.S. Aerial teams,


"Pink is the color of hope and that's exactly what the raised dollars are being used for," states Staci Ann Beers, co-founder of the Pocono Health Foundations' Hope for Strength Breast Cancer Fund.
