 Experience the power of a wish on this Sunday's Newsmakers.  The monthly public affairs program is hosted by  Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and the I-Team's Andy Mehalshick.  The topic of this Sunday's program is the Make A Wish Foundation.
Bugda and Mehalshick will have as their guests Maggie O'Brien, the Regional Manager of Make-A-Wish and Tabetha Saylock- "Make A Wish Teen".  O'Brien will talk about the criteria for selection of  Wish Children, the need for volunteers and how wishes are granted. Saylock, a senior at Riverside High School, will talk about her recent Make A Wish trip to Disney World.  She will also talk about her senior project at school which raised funds for the Make a Wish program.  Newsmakers airs this Sunday, December 8th at 6:30 am on WYOU-TV and 11:30 am on WBRE-TV.


 

 -Generations of Energy Segment: Take a look at the past, present and the future-of engergy sources in our are region.

  Lots of football tonight… WOLF 8-11:30pm is the Big Ten Championship – Michigan State vs. Ohio State (10pm news to WSWB!)  WBRE has repeats of “The Black List” and a cut-down of “SNL” at 10pm … but  “SNL” in late night is new with Paul Rudd as host and
One Direction as musical guest.   Double-hit of “Mike & Molly” with Christmas-y episodes air 8-9pm followed by “48 Hours” – where a pro poker player is suspect after his parents
are viciously killed…and then stay up late with WYOU for more college football---The Mountain West Championship (Utah State @ Fresno State) airs 10pm-1:30AM.

award the cool one million dollars live to the winning team in the Tokyo based-finale tonight!  (Both WYOU.)  WBRE has more NFL – Carolina @ New Orleans Saints 8-11:30pm.
On “Once Upon A Time”, WOLF ---8pm on
“The Simpsons”, Krusty has financial issues and Lisa tries to help…and on “Family Guy”  (9pm) Peter and Quagmire form a singing group!
