  Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for  May 22, 2014.


  Chief Meteorologist Josh Hodell  will have your updated forecast- some pretty powerful storms passed through the area....We will keep you updated.  

  Tomorrow begins Memorial Day weekend- and you know what that means- Meteorologist  Dave Skutnik will channel his inner Bobby Rydell and serenade us with his version of "Wild Wood Days"!  This Bobby Rydell fan just loves it! 

  Meanwhile, Meteorologist Dave Kuharchik is judging "Seniors Got Talent" at the Theater Lackawanna College tonight at 6 pm.  The proceeds from this event will benefit the United  Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania

 
 
  We invite you to join us tonight at 11 pm for Special Report - "Seeing is Believing". Our own Drew Speier undergoes surgery that will enable him to see clearer and without the use of glasses or contact lenses.  Drew has been wearing corrective lenses since he was three.

  Don't forget the Annual Fireman's Carnival  hosted by Hose Company Number 2 in Jessup is underway- and this leads up to Saint Ubaldo Day!  !!

The American Red Cross will kick off the "100 Days of Summer. 100 Days of Hope"campaign on Memorial Day weekend, encouraging donors to "choose your day" to donate blood and give hope to patients. One blood donation may help save up to three lives.

  The Williamsport Area School District Education Foundation is giving $2,000 to the elementary school library system in support of this year’s summer reading program, which is operating in partnership between the district’s Title1 department and James V. Brown Library.
