  Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for  February 5, 2014
  Brace yourselves for this one folks- today- February 5- is National Weatherperson's day.
  The National Weather Service says the date commemorates the birth of John
  Jeffries, who began recording daily weather observations in 1774.

Much love to our meteorologists  Josh, Dave S., Dave K., Drew, and Kevin. 

  Lots going on today- First the Snow!  We will have coverage of the snow fall across the region.  Plus- the latest on the weather story for the weekend-

Second- Eyewitness News Daybreak Anchor Tim Kelchner is in Sochi for the Winter Olympics.  Tim is the only local reporter who has the honor of covering Winter Games. 
Check out the Going for the Gold  for Tim's reports.  Ken Brown will be in the O-zone during the Olympic Games here at home

Third- "Oh, What a Night"- We are celebrating the "Jersey Boys".  There is a Red Carpet Event underway in Scranton at the Cultural Center.  We will be there live beginning on PA Live and continuing through Eyewitness News at 7 on WYOU.

Longtime friends and collaborators Ruthie Foster and Eric Bibb will join forces to celebrate a night of joyful roots music on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the Campus Theatre in downtown Lewisburg.  (Read more under the Community Link)
Penn State Hazleton is offering SAT review courses to help prepare high school students for the college entrance exam. Separate courses will cover the math and verbal portions of the SAT. Students may register for one course or both courses.  (Read more under the Community Link)
